Update on XL bully and banned breed status

We do allow XL bullies to use the field under the new legislation as you are hiring the field as a private use.

However in line with the new government legislation owners of any banned breeds must hold a valid exemption certificate and must have had their dogs neutered.

We request that the dog/s must be muzzled and on leads before entering the field and you must lock the gates behind you before letting the dog/s off lead and ensure they are muzzled and on leads before leaving.

One adult per exempted dog and no mixing of households.

You also need to obtain your own public liability insurance.

  • The Landowner allows the hirer to use the land (Dog Exercise Field) off Deep Lane Wymondham in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

  • This agreement does not create any rights over the land and the licensee accepts that the Landowner maintains control and possession of the Dog Exercise Field at all times.

  • Use of the Field shall be entirely at the hirer’s own risk. The Landowner and booking officer accept no liability for the death of or injury to any person/dog or for damage to any property. We also accept no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs/expenses or other liability incurred by the hirer during the use of the field or from accessing the field.  The Deep Lane track is council owned and maintained and can get very muddy and uneven so your vehicle should be suitable.

  • The Field is to be used as an area for the hirer to train or exercise dogs up to 4 dogs for a single booking and up to 8 or 12 dogs for a group booking and for no other purpose. Please ensure it is suitable before booking. ALL DOGS MUST HAVE HAD THEIR FIRST VACCINATIONS and not be showing any symptoms of illness.  Trainers must use force-free methods, we do not allow the use of any prong collars, shock collars, air spray pet correctors or any other shock/fear/pain training methods.  Anyone found using such methods will be immediately asked to leave and blocked from rebooking.

  •  Field hire is charged by the hour or half hour, to a maximum single hire period of 2 hours on any one day. Block-bookings (i.e. repeat bookings made at one time) may be made for an advance period of no more than eight weeks.

  • Hire cost can be found on the booking page, but if you have multiple dogs there must be an appropriate number of adults - max four dogs per adult.

  •  Payment of the full fee is required when booking and is non-refundable unless the hire is cancelled within 48 hours of the allotted date and time. No booking will be valid without payment. Payment can be made by Paypal, credit card or debit card through this website, or Bacs sort code 20-99-08, account number 83245365, payable to K Cross Paws, reference dog field.

  • During the use and upon leaving the land the hirer is to ensure the land is left in a clean and tidy condition. YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG and place in the bin provided on the field, the one at the end of the lane or take it home with you. This is not optional.  Please take any toys and litter with you - these can be harmful to other dogs/wildlife. Make sure you close the gates around the pond and mound and lock up securely when you leave.

  • DO NOT ENTER THE FIELD OR WAIT BY THE GATE UNTIL THE PREVIOUS USER IS READY TO LEAVE AND THEIR DOGS ARE UNDER CONTROL.  We ask that if you arrive early you park or wait further up the track to avoid unnecessary stress for reactive dogs.

  • Do not lock another user in the field when you leave.

  • The hirer is not to carry out any alterations to the land. The use of portable and/or disposable BBQs is not permitted.

  • Please arrive and leave on time so as not to encroach on others' allotted hour.

  • Please report any problems/concerns as soon as possible by calling Kathryn on 07722 019116, David on 07979 722740 or Karen on 01953 604385.

  • ENJOY!
